Registered Nurse (Div 1 or 2 – medication endorsed)
We are looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Registered Nurse (Div 1 or Div 2 medication endorsed) to fill for maternity leave for 9-12 months in our Non-Residential Withdrawal Nurse program. The position is based in the ACT and is a community nursing role, engaging with clients, their family and local external providers.
The Non-Residential Withdrawal program operates within the multi-disciplinary Community team, and provides: engagement and screening, comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, support to an individual to reduce or withdraw from substance whilst in the comfort of their own home, relapse prevention strategies, coordinated care with other providers, high quality transfer of care, secondary consultation and education sessions to other health providers.
This team is supported by an AOD Nurse Practitioner and Senior Nurse/Clinical Director.
