ACT Community Services Program Manager

Karralika Programs is looking for a Community Services Program Manager to lead our dedicated teams in Deakin, ACT, and surrounding regional areas.

This role is a unique opportunity to drive service excellence, enhance clinical governance, and provide strong leadership to multidisciplinary teams.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leading and managing multidisciplinary teams, including case managers, counsellors, and lived experience mentors
  • Overseeing program operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and clinical governance frameworks
  • Driving continuous quality improvement, embedding evidence-based practices, and leading change management initiatives
  • Developing and managing partnerships, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen service delivery
  • Representing Karralika Programs in external forums, contributing to strategic planning and policy development
  • Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on program performance, ensuring service standards are met and outcomes are achieved
  • Providing after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis, ensuring comprehensive service coverage

About You

To qualify, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years in senior clinical roles or managerial experience in Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) services.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Qualification in Alcohol, Tobacco, Other Drugs (ATOD) and/or related health field
  • Leadership and Management qualification
  • Experience in working therapeutically with adults, children, young people, and families
  • Clinical case review and incident debrief experience
  • Strong understanding of best practice AOD treatment services, including trauma-informed and family-inclusive approaches

Remuneration & Benefits

As our Community Services Program Manager, you will receive a generous salary of $122,000 – $132,000, depending on qualifications and experience, plus superannuation and a host of great benefits.
