What attracted you to the Karralika Board?

I was really drawn to Karralika’s focus on holistic recovery and the way it supports people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how access to the right health services can be life-changing, not just for individuals, but for families and communities as well. The opportunity to contribute my leadership experience and my strong interest in health equity, particularly women’s health, to an organisation doing such meaningful work really resonated with me.

When you’re not at board meetings, what do you do professionally?

I am an officer in the Australian Regular Army, I have a background in leadership and health planning across a range of domestic and international settings. Alongside this, I’m continuing my studies, currently completing a Master of Business Administration specialising in Hospital Management.

How does your experience support Karralika Programs in providing a strong service to the wider community?

My experience has given me a strong understanding of how health systems, governance, and community needs intersect. I bring a practical, people-focused perspective, with a particular emphasis on equity, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes. I’m passionate about supporting services that are inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the real needs of the community, and I hope to contribute thoughtful ideas and strategic insight to support Karralika’s important work.
