Adult TC (Therapeutic Community)
The TC perspective on recovery, right living and the ‘community as method’ approach is integrated and includes the basic components such as the staged approach, social organisation, work structure, daily meeting schedule stc.
Nexus Program for Men
Nexus is our program just for men with drug and alcohol dependencies who live in a group house setting in the community whilst going through a treatment and recovery program.
Transition Program
Transition is our program for clients who have completed their stay at the Therapeutic Community and wishing to have a supported environment while reintegrating back into the community. Clients live in a group house setting in the community whilst continuing a treatment and recovery program.
Family Program
The Families Therapeutic Community provides a safe and supportive environment for single and dual parents and their children, to focus on recovery from alcohol and other drug use, strengthening family relationships and improving parenting skills.
Karuna Short Stay (8 weeks)
The Karuna Program is a short-stay program of 8 weeks, or the first phase of a longer stay at the Karralika Therapeutic Community supporting you with rehabilitative care for alcohol and drug issues in a residential setting.
Programs in the Community
Reversed Driver Education Program
REVERSED is an interactive, informative, and affordable program provided in a safe environment where issues related to drink driving, and driving under the influence of drugs, can be explored. It will also provide approaches for problem solving.
Pharmacotherapy Support
The program provides holistic care and support to people receiving a replacement therapy for their substance use issues as well as their families and support networks. This includes providing information and education to all of them.
Community Services Counselling
Community service counselling program offers specialist alcohol and other drug counselling services for people and their families, pre-program for those entering into rehabilitation, and general counselling for those who just need support.
Community Drug Action Teams
Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) is based across regional NSW, as part of a Consortium of specialist alcohol and other drug organisations. From 2021 to 2023 Karralika Programs and Consortium partners Odyssey NSW (lead agency), The Buttery, and Bila Muuji Aboriginal Corporation Health Services Inc will support the CDAT program across NSW.
Non-Residential Withdrawal
This program supports young people and adults to safely cease or reduce drugs and/or alcohol in the comfort of their own home by ceasing regular drug and alcohol use. we aim to restore people’s health and well-being in the short-term.
Matrix Program
The Matrix program is an internationally validated and, evidence-based 16-week group program that is delivered by a Counsellor and a Lived Experience Mentor.
Women: Choice and Change
Women: Choice and Change is a six session program that deals with the impact of domestic violence on women. Domestic and family violence is a complex social problem. It impacts on women, children, families and communities in Australia and is both serious and preventable.
Child and Youth Alcohol and Drug Support Service
Wagga & Murrumbidgee
We are here to support children and young people between 10 and 19 years of age who are experiencing difficulties with alcohol and other drug issues. We aim to reduce the harms associated with drug and alcohol use to improve quality of life.
Eurobodalla
Some activities clients can participate in are: comprehensive assessment including health, treatment planning, brief intervention and short-term counselling, assistance with drug withdrawal and/or reduction and case planning etc.
Programs linked to the Justice System
Justice Services Counselling
This program offers up to twelve trauma informed, specialist AOD counselling sessions, with a focus on assisting clients to develop strategies to address AOD and other issues arising from the transition back to the community.
