REVERSED – an education program to help you drive sober

Karralika Programs Inc. has been the lead agency in drink-driver education in the ACT for many years, offering programs to adults 18 years of age and over. If you are charged with having a mid to high blood range PCA (prescribed content of alcohol) or multiple drink-driving offences you can complete REVERSED, an ACT Government approved course, in order to have your license restored.

About the Program

From 25 November 2011, if you have been charged with drink driving and had a mid to high range PCA or if you have multiple offences, the law requires you to complete a 6 hour course before your licence can be restored.

REVERSED is an interactive, informative, engaging and affordable program provided in a safe learning environment where issues related to drink driving, and driving under the influence of drugs, can be explored.

REVERSED aims to:

  • Provide you with information and facts about alcohol and other drugs
  • Examine the impact of driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs on you and on others
  • Provide approaches to problem solving to prevent reoffending
  • Assist you to identify risk situations and promote safety

Participants receive a certificate of completion and we validate your attendance with Road User Services so that you can retain or have your licence reinstated.

REVERSED has been developed by Karralika Programs Inc. based on our years of experience in delivering drink-driver education including the Sober Driver Program. It involves two three-hour sessions over two weeks.

We run courses each week and have two locations – Philip and Dickson. Our courses are primarily run in the evenings but we can also run courses during work hours and on weekends if there is sufficient demand.

We recognise that some people may find it hard to pay for a course but can’t survive without their license. Karralika Programs offers a payment plan and also offers reduced rates for concession card holders.

Weekly courses are running so get in contact with us and get back on track.

Karralika Programs Inc. offers the opportunity for you to receive post-course support and assistance to explore treatment options through our services or through referrals to other support services.
